Flax Seed Buns...

Flax Seed Buns!!


Pre Heat Oven 180c
1 cup flax meal
1/3 cup coconut flour
1/3 cup almond meal
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 
1/4 cup warm water
5 egg whites
1tsp celtic sea salt

 1. Place all dry ingredients in a bowl.

 2. Add all wet ingredients to bowl and mix.

 3. Your dough should look like this now. Wet your hand, and roll (in your hands) 4 large balls.

5. Place your rolled out buns on a greased baking tray. I used the egg yolks and brushed a little on the top to make them golden on the top. I also put black sesame seeds and Pepita seeds on the top. Now bake for around 25minutes or until the center is firm and they are golden!

These are great! You could make bacon and egg rolls, take them on a picnic, have them with burgers!

  1. These were goood! But mine didn't look as pretty as yours :) I didn't have baking soda, so I put extra baking powder. May be that is a problem. Mine were on a dry side. But still very good! Thank you
